The good news is that TikTok allows new accounts to grow rapidly, so you can scale up your views and followers in no time. But here’s the challenge: You’ll need to have a solid strategy and create high quality content consistently in order to maintain engagement and continue to grow.

As one of the first employees of TikTok in Europe, I was able to gain valuable insights on the platform algorithm and app functionalities and used my insider knowledge to enable others to drive profitable growth on the app.

After leaving TikTok in 2021, I started an agency that specializes in helping brands succeed on TikTok and in just 1 year have helped hundreds of people to build and scale their brand awareness and sales through TikTok.

Now, I want to help even more people and businesses to establish and grow their presence on TikTok.

Given all this, I’ve decided to launch an in-depth TikTok for Business course.

The course will be 4 weeks long (~2–3 hours/week time commitment). It will feature content at your own pace, live workshops with breakouts, Q+A and personalized assignment feedback. You’ll also be part of a tight-knit peer community to hold you accountable, give you feedback and make new connections.

This course is inspired by years of mistakes, wins, and powerful lessons I’ve learned working at TikTok, but also growing my own account from 0 to over 500 000 followers in less than 6 months.

The Course

Live session: TikTok for Business — The Basics

During our first live session, you will learn about the basic functionalities of TikTok, while getting to know me and the other participants. The goal is to demystify TikTok and build a small but mighty community that supports each other and grows together over the course of the next 4 weeks.

Module 1: Using TikTok — Learn how to use TikTok to market your business, drive brand awareness and generate new leads.

This first module will teach you more about the app itself and give you a broader understanding of how to use TikTok for business. You will gain insider knowledge on the TikTok platform algorithm and learn about specific marketing techniques for TikTok.

Module 2: Strategy Building — Develop the ideal content strategy for you and your business

The second module will help you to build or revamp your account strategy from the ground up. The materials provided will help you to develop the ideal content strategy for your business, industry, location and target audience. This includes identifying the right niche, tone of voice, and TikTok vertical, as well as determining other key factors such as posting frequency and key audience. Each participant will receive a strategy sheet to fill while walking through the lessons in this module, which will altogether build the overall account strategy. The completed strategy sheet will then be submitted to the platform for you to receive personalized feedback on each of your strategy items.

Live session: Strategy Review

During the first live session I will help participants refine their strategy sheets. Based on the feedback I have provided on each plan before the session, I will further discuss the most crucial plan points. Volunteers will also have the opportunity to learn from others, by sharing their strategy sheet for everyone to review.

Module 3: Content Creation — Learn how to create captivating content that converts

Finally you will learn how to record and edit captivating videos directly on your phone. In module 3, I will walk you through the creation process from ideation over scripting to recording and finally editing your TikTok videos. You’ll be guided through every step of the process until you have finally created a video that will be aligned with the strategy set in module 2 and will pave the way to driving more sales on TikTok. The videos you have recorded during the third module can be uploaded to the platform, so you can receive personalized advice on how to further improve your content.

Module 4: Best Practices — Lessons I learned from scaling my account from 0 to 500 000

In the last module I will discuss best practices and useful tips and tricks I’ve learned throughout my time being a creator and working for TikTok. This includes pitfalls and challenges I’ve encountered while scaling my account, so you can learn from my mistakes!

Live session: Q&A

In our final live session I will share some of the best videos with you and volunteers can show their TikToks to get honest and constructive feedback from the crowd. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions and connect with other participants on the course for a chance to collaborate on more videos, and co-promote your accounts on the platform.
